SVSU Women's Soccer Players Earn All-GLIAC Honors

BAY CITY, Mich. - Three Saginaw Valley State University women's soccer student-athletes were named All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) following postseason balloting conducted by the league's head coaches in conjunction with the annual league tournament.

Senior Presley Tibbetts was named to the All-GLIAC First Team as a defender. She started all 16 games for the Lady Cardinals and totaled a pair of assists from the defensive end of the field. It's the second straight year Tibbetts has been named First Team All-GLIAC.

Junior forward Ashley Henderson was selected to the All-GLIAC Second Team as a forward, marking her second straight year earning Second Team All-GLIAC plaudits. Henderson led SVSU with 24 points off of 10 goals and four assists. The 10 scores ties her career high she tallied in her freshman season (2013-14) and the four helpers is a new career-best. 

Freshman defender Samantha Dunn was named to the All-GLIAC Honorable Mention team following her solid first year in an SVSU uniform. Dunn played in 14 of the 16 SVSU matches, starting 12 of those. She had two assists from the defender position.
