UNIVERSITY CENTERThe SVSU's women's soccer team fell on the road at Michigan Tech University in a GLIAC contest by a score of 2-1.

The Huskies scored twice in the first half to take an early lead. The first goal came from Jacqueline Mielke, unassisted at the 6:39 minute mark. The Huskies scored again when Lexi Herrewig notched an unassisted goal at the 29:47 marker.

The score remained 2-0 until the 70th minute point in the second half when SVSU's Ashley Henderson posted an unassisted goal to make the score 2-1. That's where the final score stayed and the Huskies closed out for the victory.
