MARQUETTE - The SVSU women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision on the road at Northern Michigan University on Friday (Oct. 23) afternoon in GLIAC action.

Paula Hafner posted the first goal for the Wilcats at the 6:30 minute mark to take an early 1-0 advantage and that same score would hold into the halftime break.

NMU added its second goal at the 71:35 marker when Hafner knocked in another unassisted goal to make the score 2-0.

That's where the final count stood as the Wildcats held on for the shutout victory.
