ROLLA, Mo. - Saginaw Valley State University women's soccer student-athlete Presley Tibbetts has been selected to the Daktronics, Inc. All-Midwest Region Second Team for her play during the 2014 season.
The 5'5" midfielder from Grandville, Michigan had one goal and a team-high seven assists for the Lady Cardinals, accounting for nine total points, which was third on the team. She was selected to the 2014 All-GLIAC First Team as well, finishing fifth in the conference with the seven assists.
Tibbetts was a catalyst for the 2014 Lady Cardinals, who made their second-ever appearance in the NCAA Division II Tournament, claiming the program's first-ever victory in the national tourney with a 1-0 decision over Ohio Dominican.
SVSU finished the 2014 season with an 11-4-3 overall record, the most victories since the 2009 season (14) that resulted in the first-ever NCAA appearance.
