- The SVSU women's soccer team plays a pair of GLIAC opponents this weekend. The Cardinals host Ferris State on Friday at Braddock Field before traveling to Allendale to face off against the #3 Grand Valley State Lakers on Sunday. Saginaw Valley is coming off two victories this past weekend against Ashland and Lake Erie. Ferris State has a 1-3-1 mark in GLIAC play this year, while GVSU is 5-0-0 in the GLIAC. SVSU tied the Bulldogs earlier the year in a non-conference match-up 1-1 in double-overtime.
