Coach Drago Selected To Instruct At EXACT Soccer Camp

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - Saginaw Valley State University women's soccer coach, Drago Dumbovic, is adding on to his list of accomplishments in the college soccer world. Dumbovic has been selected to instruct at the EXACT Soccer ID Camp at Benedictine University on Wednesday and Thursday, July 10-11.

Coach Drago is entering his 12th season as the head coach for Saginaw Valley State University's women's soccer team.  In 2012 he helped lead the Cardinals back to the GLIAC Postseason for the first time since 2010, advancing to the Championship Game. Senior Captain Charley Porter wrapped up a solid career at SVSU becoming the first women's soccer player to be honored as an All-American. Sophomore Annie Aubrey joined Porter in receiving All-Region accolades after leading the Cardinals with five game winning goals.  In 2010 he helped guide SVSU to its seventh straight winning season, finishing with a 9-8-1 overall record, and qualifying for the GLIAC Tournament for the seventh straight season.  He led the Lady Cardinals to a school-record 14 wins in the 2009 season, a second-straight appearance in the GLIAC Championship Match, and the program's first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division II Playoffs, where SVSU fell to #24 Quincy University in the first round.

This unique ID Soccer Camp will give Dumbovic the opportunity to share some wisdom as an instructor for high school athletes from across the nation. During the two day camp he will conduct small group clinic activity, observe players in showcasing their development potential, and lead one-on-one review sessions with each player.
