Saginaw Valley Falls to Ohio Dominican, 1-0

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Saginaw Valley State University women's soccer team fell to Ohio Dominican 1-0 today (Oct. 29) in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) contest.

Saginaw Valley had eight shots in the match-up but were unable to capitilize as the Panthers scored on one of their ten shots on goal in the 71st minute of play. Freshman Bianca Gibson (Flint, Mich./Carman-Ainsworth HS) had three shots, two of which were on goal for the Cardinals and senior Amanda Kady (Macomb, Mich./Eisenhower HS) had two shots on goal.

With the loss Saginaw Valley falls to 9-7-1 overall on the season and 8-6-1 in the GLIAC to end their regular season, while Ohio Dominican improves to 10-4-3 overall on the season. The Cardinals will return to action in the GLIAC tournament next weekend. Time to be announced.
