Women's Soccer Loses To #24 Quincy In Regionals, 1-0

WILDER, Ky. - The Saginaw Valley State University women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to #24-ranked Quincy University in Midwest Regional action, hosted by Northern Kentucky University. 

The lone goal on the evening came when Quincy's Brittany Casey scored at the 14:11 mark in the first half.  The shot chart was even, as SVSU was only out-shot by one, 11-10 for the contest, but was only able to get two of the shots on-goal.  Renee Privette (Port Huron, Mich.) had three shots for SVSU. 

The loss concludes the record-setting season for the Cardinals, as they finish with a 14-3-3 overall record.  Quincy now has a a 15-5-1 record in the 2009 campaign, and advances to face Northern Kentucky Sunday at 1:00.
