QUINCY, Ill. - The Saginaw Valley State
University womens soccer team fell 2-0 to Quincy University after
their first game of the weekend against Missouri-St. Louis was
canceled because of unplayable field conditions.
The Cardinals were unable to get into any kind of offensive rhythm
on Sunday (Sept. 7). After falling behind by 1-0 at the 20 minute
mark of the first half, SVSU would lock things down defensively
until Quincy would sneak a goal in during the 83rd minute to move
the score to 2-0.
SVSU falls to 0-2 on the season and returns to action at noon on
September 14 against Northwood University for the 2008 GLIAC
opener.
