Women's Golf Headed to NCAA Division II East Regional

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – The Saginaw Valley State University women's golf team has been selected to compete in the NCCA Division II East Regional at Panther Creek Golf Club hosted by the University of Illinois Springfield. The competition will be conducted May 8-10 with the match crowning an individual and team champion concurrently. All participants will compete through 54 holes of competition. The top six teams from the East Region and the top two individuals not on an advancing team will head to the championships held May 16-20 at Fox Run Golf Club in Eureka, Missouri. The number of participants that qualify for the finals is 98.

The Cardinals head into the match coming off a great performance at the GLIAC Conference Championships where they were ranked as the four-seed but were able to conquer the first-ranked Warriors of Wayne State University and fell just one match short on the final day against GLIAC Champions, Ferris State University.
