Cardinals Finish 12th at Findlay Invitational

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Saginaw Valley State University women's golf team continued their road trip to Kentucky Monday and Tuesday competing in the Findlay Invitational hosted by 2021-2022 season national champions Findlay University.

Highlighting the weekend was Megan Thiravong who competed as an individual. She finished T19 and capped off her final round with a one-under-par round of 71. She excelled in par three holes for the tournament going only two over, through three rounds of play. She also posted one eagle.

On the team side of things, SVSU finished twelfth overall. Brook Herbsteit led the team with a T43 finish posting a three-day score of 241. Emily O'Brien followed one stroke behind and finished T46. Mandy Ehrlich carded 82 for both of her rounds on the first day and 81 on day two which was good for T54. Rachael Krieger and Megan Kozlowski shot three-round totals of 253 and 263 respectively.

The women's team is back in action on April 17 at Glenmoor Country Club in Canton Ohio to take on Walsh University.
