Ehrlich wins, Cardinals place third in fall finale

AUGUSTA, Mich. – The Saginaw Valley State University women's golf team concluded the fall portion of the schedule at the Panther Invitational hosted by Davenport University this weekend at the Stonehedge Golf Club in Augusta, Mich.

The Cardinals closed the event in third place with a two-round score of 620 (312, 308), 15 strokes behind event winner Ferris State University.

SVSU was led by Mandy Ehrlich, who won the individual title at the event, with a two-round score of 147, carding a 72 in the opening round and a 75 in the final round on Sunday.

Brook Herbstreit finished tied for 11th with a 156, while Megan Kozlowski was tied for 14th with a 157. Rachael Krieger closed the event in 21st and Emily O'Brien was 23rd.
