Cardinals close season with ninth place finish at NCAA East Regional

KANSAS CITY - The Saginaw Valley State University women's golf team concluded competition at the NCAA East Regional on Wednesday from the Shoal Creek Golf Club in Kansas City, Missouri. The Cardinals finished ninth in the team standings with a score of 951 after three rounds of play. The top five teams moved on to the NCAA Championships. 

Emily O'Brien led SVSU individually in a tie for 18th place with a total score of 230. Behind her was Brook Herbstreit in a tie for 20th with a score of 232. Amanda Ehrlich finished in a tie for 45th place with a 243, while Megan Kozlowski completed the scoring in a tie for 59th place with a score of 250. 

Andie Martin also competed for SVSU and finished in 70th place with a 257.

This concludes the 2021-22 women's golf season for the Cardinals.
