SVSU in eighth place heading into final day of NCAA East Regional

KANSAS CITY - The Saginaw Valley State University women's golf team continued play at the NCAA DII East Regional on Tuesday from the Shoal Creek Golf Club in Kansas City, Missouri. After two rounds of competition, the Cardinals sit in eighth place in the team standings with a score of 633. 

Leading SVSU in the second round was Brook Herbstreit with a 77. She is currently tied for 22nd place individually along with Emily O'Brien with a total score of 155. Amanda Ehrlich finished round two with a 78, and is currently tied 28th with a 157, while Megan Kozlowski is tied for 65th place with a 170. Right behind Kozlowski is Andie Martin in a tie for 68th with a score of 171. 

The final day of the NCAA East Regional will begin at 9:30 am EST Wednesday morning from the Shoal Creek Golf Club in Kansas City. The top five finishing teams will advance to the NCAA Division II National Championships.
