SVSU finishes eighth at Findlay Spring Invite

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The Saginaw Valley State University women's golf team competed at the Findlay Spring Invite on Monday and Tuesday from the UK Big Blue Golf Course in Lexington, Kentucky. The Cardinals finished with a total team score of 964 after three rounds of play, finishing the tournament in eighth place in the team standings. 

Sophomore Amanda Ehrlich led the Cardinals in a tie for 19th place individually with a score of 231. Emily O'Brien finished 34th, posting a total score of 238. In a tie for 47th place was Megan Kozlowski with a 243, while Andie Martin completed the scoring for SVSU in a tie for 69th with a score of 253. 

Also competing for the Cardinals was Megan Thiravong in a tie for 66th with a 251, and Brook Herbstreit in a tie for 75th place with a score of 256. 

The Cardinals will next compete in the Cavalier Classic hosted by Walsh University on Monday, Apr. 11 from the Glenmoor Country Club in Canton, Ohio.
