Cardinals earn fifth place finish at SVSU Spring Invitational

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The Saginaw Valley State University women's golf team earned a fifth place finish at the SVSU Spring Invitational Sunday afternoon from the Cherry Blossom Golf Course in Lexington, Kentucky. SVSU finished with a team score of 646. 

Leading the Cardinals was Emily O'Brien in a tie for 10th place with a two-day score of 157. Right behind her in a tie for 16th place was Amanda Ehrlich with a score of 159. Brook Herbstreit finished tied for 27th with a total score of 164, while Megan Kozlowski completed the scoring for SVSU in a tie for 30th with 166. 

Also competing was Andie Martin in a tie for 23rd with a 161, and Megan Thiravong in 60th place with a score of 182. 

The Cardinals will compete in the Findlay Spring Invite beginning Monday at the UK Big Blue Golf Course in Lexington, Kentucky.
