SVSU finishes seventh at Bulldog Invitational

BIG RAPIDS, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University women's golf team finished seventh overall as a team at the Lady Bulldog Fall Invite hosted by Ferris State University Monday and Tuesday. The Cardinals had a team score of 649 over the two rounds of golf played, while Grand Valley State University won the event with a score of 598.

Leading SVSU was Rachael Krieger in a tie for 20th place in the individual standings with an overall score of 159. The freshman from Commerce Township, Mich. shot a 75 on day one of the tournament and then carded an 84 on day two. 

Brook Herbstreit finished tied for 27th with a 162 for SVSU. Next for the Cardinals was Megan Thiravong in a tie for 33rd place with a score of 164. Amanda Ehrlich tied for 41st place with a 167 while Megan Kozlowski finished tied for 46th place with a 168. 

SVSU will be at the William Beall Classic starting next Monday at the Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio.
