ALLENDALE, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University women's golf team competed at the Gilda's Club Laker Fall Invitational hosted by Grand Valley State University on Saturday at The Meadows Golf Club. The teams played two rounds in the event and SVSU finished with a team score of 650. The host Lakers won the event with a score of 600. 

Leading the Cardinals was Amanda Ehrlich in a tie for 20th place and an overall score of 160. Behind her was Brook Herbstreit in a tied for 24th with a score of 162. Megan Thiravong finished tied for 27th with a score of 163, while Rachael Krieger tied for 32nd with a 165. Tying for 45th place was Emily O'Brien with an overall total of 169.

SVSU will compete at the Ferris State Bulldog Invitational starting Sunday at the Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids, Mich.
