LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Saginaw Valley State University women's golf team opened the 2021 season with the SVSU Spring Invite, with the opening round of the two-day event Saturday at the Cherry Blossom Golf Course in Lexington, Ky.

The Cardinals finished the round alone in third place with a 30-over par round of 318, just six strokes off the leader Tiffin University at 312.
