BIG RAPIDS -- SVSU sophomore Women's Golf student-athlete Sabrina Coffman has finished play at the 2018 NCAA Division II East Regional Tournament, which was held at The Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids, Michigan. 

Coffman rounded-out play with her best score of the tournament, firing a round of 77 (+5). She finished in a tie for 43rd place overall in the first NCAA postseason competition representing the Lady Cardinals. Sabrina shot rounds of 78-87-77 to finish with a total of 242.

For the 2017-18 season, Coffman finished with a stroke average of 77.35, earning seven top-10 finishes and three top-5 showings. Her season-low score of 72 (E) came in the first round of the Findlay Beall Fall Classic in October. She helped SVSU claim its first team title as well, winning the ODU Snowflake Open in March. Coffman became the first Cardinal to earn All-GLIAC honors this season, being named to the All-GLIAC Second Team. She finished in the top-5 at the 2018 GLIAC Championships.  

The east regional event wraps-up the 2017-18 season for Saginaw Valley and its second year of competition.
