Four Cardinal Members Compete at the GVSU Last Chance Meet

ALLENDALE, Mich. — The SVSU Track and Field team sent four athletes to compete at the GVSU Last Chance meet. Here are the results below of today's athlete's who attended the events. 

Lauren Huebner ran in the women's 400m hurdles, finishing first with a time of 1:02.97. She is currently 48th in the NCAA DII. DonnaJean Eschenbacher was the other female that competed for SVSU recording a distance of 5.29m in the women's high jump competition. 

Noah VanderVeen added a new record height of 2.11m in the high jump competition. VanderVeen is currently ranked 11th in the nation in the high jump competition after today. 

Ryan Kelly earned a 16.30m distance in the shot put event, putting him 43rd in the nation. 

Up Next...

Sam Black, Carter Eckhardt, Ryan Kelly, Travon Phillips, VanderVeen and Huebner, will compete at Hillsdale College on Thursday (May 9) afternoon, for another last chance meet to improve their times to earn higher seating in the national rankings.
