Sonya Campbell CMT, has been a massage therapist for 10 years. After finishing an apprenticeship in cosmology, Sonya went on to Baker Collage to study massage therapy, and The Flint School of Therapeutic Massage for advanced body works. Specializing in deep tissue and medical massage, Sonya has worked with trainers and athlete all over Michigan.
Now the Owner of Hair Therapy Salon and Spa, Sonya enters her third year working at SVSU.
"It's the best part of my week," said Campbell. "Not every massage therapist gets to work on athletes. It feels amazing to know you helped an athlete so they can train harder or helped put a player from an injured list back on the field."
