Schulmeyer joined the SVSU Athletic Training Staff in July of
2012. She came to Saginaw Valley State University after serving as
an Assistant Athletic Trainer at University of Illinois at
Springfield from August 2011 to July 2012.
Schulmeyer is responsible for providing coverage for the Women's
Soccer, Women’s Swimming & Diving and Softball teams at
SVSU.
A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, Schulmeyer graduated from the
University of Evansville in 2009 and earned a Bachelor of Science
Degree in Athletic Training. She went on to earn a Master’s
of Science Degree in 2011 from Indiana University, where she served
as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer.
Schulmeyer has been a BOC certified athletic trainer since 2010.
She is currently licensed as an athletic trainer in the state of
Michigan, Illinois and Indiana. She also holds memberships in the
National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Great Lakes Athletic
Trainers’ Association and the Michigan Athletic
Trainers’ Society.
Schulmeyer resides in Saginaw Township.
