A Michigan native, Dr. Lance Freeman is fellowship-trained in sports medicine and sees patients of all ages at Saginaw Valley Bone & Joint Center. He earned his medical degree from American University of the Caribbean and completed an emergency medicine residency at Detroit Medical Center. He went on to complete a fellowship in primary care sports medicine at St. John Providence Hospital and Medical Center in Southfield, Michigan. He specializes in the evaluation and treatment of non-surgical sports and exercise-related injuries, including concussion. With over 20 years of experience in medicine, Dr. Freeman brings a broad range of expertise to patient care. He is also board-certified in emergency medicine through the American Board of Emergency Medicine, practicing at Covenant Healthcare. Dr. Freeman serves as a team physician for Saginaw Valley State University, Saginaw Spirit OHL Hockey Team, and Frankenmuth High School.
