Camburn was promoted to Associate Head Athletic Trainer in January of 2017. He joined the SVSU Athletic Training Staff in September of 2006 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer
Camburn is responsible for providing coverage for the Football and Men's and Women's Golf teams at SVSU.
A native of Sandusky, Michigan, Camburn graduated from Saginaw Valley State University in 2005 and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training. He went on to earn a Master’s of Science Degree in Health Leadership in 2012 from Saginaw Valley State University. During the summers of 2005-2006, Camburn completed an athletic training internship with the Baltimore Ravens.
Camburn has been a BOC certified athletic trainer since 2006. He is currently licensed as an athletic trainer in the state of Michigan. He also holds memberships in the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Great Lakes Athletic Trainers’ Association, Michigan Athletic Trainers’ Society and the College Athletic Trainers’ Society.
Camburn resides in Bay City with his wife Kristy and their children.
