HILLSDALE, Mich. - The softball doubleheader between Saginaw Valley State University and Hillsdale College scheduled for today (Apr. 28) at Hillsdale have been postponed due to inclement weather for a third time this season. 

The games are scheduled to be made up on Monday, April 29, starting at 3:30 PM.

Saginaw Valley (15-21, 11-11 GLIAC) needs a sweep in the final Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader on Monday to qualify for the postseason tournament.  With the wins the Cardinals would be 13-11 in the conference and tied with the University of Findlay for the eighth and final spot in the conference standings.  SVSU swept the Oilers earlier this season in Ohio to own the head-to-head tiebreaker.  Please continue to check with www.svsucardinals.com for updates about upcoming contests.
