GLIAC -- SVSU Men's Soccer junior forward Azaad Liadi earned GLIAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honors for the Cardinals after leading the team to a 3-0 record this past week in league action. 

Liadi led the Cardinals to a 3-0 record this past week in GLIAC action to remain atop the GLIAC standings. Liadi scored two goals and added an assist, accumulating five points. In Wednesday's match versus Ashland, he had both goals with the second proving to be the game-winner. For the week, Liadi had 14 shots with six of those on-goal.

Saginaw Valley hits the road this weekend for a pair of conference matchups. First up is a Friday (Oct. 12) match at No. 22 Northern Michigan before playing at Northwood on Sunday. Stay tuned to www.svsucardinals.com for full details on the matches.
