Saginaw Valley Ties Ohio Dominican, 0-0 in Double Overtime

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University men's soccer team tied Ohio Dominican 0-0 today (Oct. 24) in double overtime.

The Cardinal defense and goaltender Piotr Kazmierczak (Stargard, Poland / Kellogg CC) held Ohio Dominican to 13 shots, four of which were on goal.  Freshman Zachary Myers (Grand Rapids, Mich. / Forrest Hills Eastern HS) led the Saginaw Valley offense with four shots on goal.

With the tie, SVSU moves to 4-10-3 overall on the season, while Ohio Dominican moves to 6-6-3.  The Cardinals will be back in action on Sunday (Oct 25) when they travel to Davenport University (Mich.) for a 2:00 pm match-up.
