LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Saginaw Valley State University men's golf team is sitting just three strokes back of the lead after the first round of the season-opening 2021 SVSU Spring Invite Saturday at the Kearney Hills Golf Links in Lexington, Ky.

The Cardinals are in a tie for third place with Tiffin University and Ferris State University at four-over-par 292 thru 18 holes. Grand Valley State University leads after one round with a 289.
