BIG RAPIDS -- The SVSU Men's Golf team finished in third place at the 2018 GLIAC North Championship, held at the Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids, Michigan. The Cardinals had two players finish in the top-10, with Gunnar Stein finishing tied for 4th and Dustin Pumford tied for 9th. 

The Cardinals shot rounds of 288-301, finishing 10 strokes behind runner-up Ferris State and 12 shy of champion Grand Valley State. 

Stein followed-up his even par round with a 74 (+4) on Saturday, finishing with a two-day total of 144. Pumford shot rounds of 72-75 to finish with a score of 147 for the 9th place showing. 

Nicklaus Bailey had the low round of the day for SV, shooting a 72 (+2) to finish tied for 16th with his score of 150. Jared Lyons was tied for 23rd after rounds of 68-84 while Will Sattler tied for 38th with two consecutive rounds of 80.
