NOBLESVILLE, Ind. -- The SVSU Men's Golf team finished in 4th place at the 2018 Greyhound Invitational. The Cardinals put together rounds of 289-287-296 in the three-day event, finishing just four strokes behind tournament winner Missouri-St. Louis.
Austin Carter finished runner-up in the event, posting a three day tally of 212 (-4). He put together rounds of 69-68-75 and was the second round leader. Carter was named to the All-Tournament team for his performance.
Finishing tied for 11th place was Ryan Peruski, who had a third round score of 73. He shot 74-71-73 (218, +2).
Mason Motte had the low round for Saginaw Valley on Tuesday, posting an even par 72. He carded scores of 76-73-72 (221, +5) to end up in a tie for 26th place.
Dustin Pumford finished tied for 48th after his scores of 73-77-76 (226, +10).
Jared Lyons ws 66th after notching rounds of 73-75-82 for the Cardinals.

Saginaw Valley continues on at the Ferris State Invitational, which will take place Saturday - Sunday at the Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids, Michigan.
