GLIAC -- SVSU Men's Basketball sophomore guard Myles Belyeu has earned his third GLIAC South Division Player of the Week honor after leading the Cardinals to a pair of home victories this past weekend over Northern Michigan and Michigan Tech. 

Belyeu averaged a double-double in leading the Cardinals to a pair of victories over Northern Michigan and Michigan Tech. He posted 25 points and matched a career-high with 13 rebounds in Thursday's 68-63 win over Northern Michigan. He followed that up with another 25 points on Saturday, adding seven boards with two steals and an assist in the team's 73-69 victory over Michigan Tech. 

Saginaw Valley now sits in third place in the GLIAC standings and is 14-7 overall and 8-5 in the league. The Cardinals hit the road on Thursday (Feb. 6) for a game at No. 11 Ferris State before traveling to play at Lake Superior State on Saturday. Thursday's game will tip-off at 5:30 p.m. in Big Rapids.
