BIG RAPIDS -- The Saginaw Valley State University Men's Basketball team will travel to play Ferris State University on Wednesday (Feb. 28) in the Quarterfinal round of the 2018 GLIAC Tournament.
The Cardinals enter as the No. 8 seed in the tournament while the Bulldogs are the No. 1 tournament seed and No. 2-ranked team in the country. SVSU will be looking to end Ferris's run of three straight GLIAC Tournament titles in the matchup that will feature a 7:00 p.m. tip-off from Wink Arena in Big Rapids, Michigan.
The two teams have met twice so far this season, with Ferris State winning both matchups.
Saginaw Valley has qualified for the annual league postseason tournament three of the past four years and will be making its 10th appearance in the tournament's history on Wednesday.
