UNIVERSITY CENTER -- SVSU Men's Basketball Head Coach Randy Baruth has announced the signing of James Toohey (Canberra, Australia / Marist College Canberra) to the program. The 6-2 guard will join the Cardinals for the upcoming 2017-18 season.

Toohey prepped at Marist College Canberra, where he played AFL, rugby and ran cross country. He received full school colours during his time there as well. Toohey plans on majoring in mechanical engineering at SVSU.
