LOUISVILLE, KY - The Saginaw Valley State University men's basketball team competed against the Bellarmine University Knights in the second game of the 2015 GLIAC/GLVC Challenge. After trailing by by a 38-25 margin, SVSU outscored the Knights 56-55 in the second half but eventually fell by a total score of 93-81 to the Knights.

C.J. Turnage had 10 first half points with eight rebounds while Vincent Adams had six points for the Cardinals in the opening 20 minutes.

Adams added 11 points in the second half to give him 17 overall on the night. Garrett Hall chipped-in with 14 second half points and newcomer Mike Wells had 13 second half points as well.

Inside the Boxscore

  • Adams's 17 points mark a career-high for the senior guard. He added five rebounds and two assists as well.
  • Hall posted 16 total points with three boards for the Cardinals.
  • Turnage finished with 14 points, eight rebounds, two steals and an assist.
  • Damon Bozeman added nine points while Wells posted 13 points and four assists.
  • BU's Rusty Troutman had a game-high 29 points in the matchup.
