2011-12: Played in 24 games, starting 16…averaged 19.6 minutes per game…posted a .387 field goal percentage with 83 points on the season…shot 19-for-29 from the free throw line…pulled down 78 defensive rebounds and 27 offensive rebounds which were both good for third overall…had a team leading 18 blocked shots…had a season high 12 points against Lake Superior State (Dec. 1).

2010-11: Appeared in 20 games, starting in four of them…averaged 3.7 points per game and 2.7 rebounds…pulled down 14 offensive rebounds and 40 defensive rebounds…led the team with 19 blocks…tallied 11 points against Florida Southern (Nov. 27) and went six-for-six from the free throw line.

Prior to SVSU/Personal: Transferred from Oakland University...prepped at Port Huron Northern High School and DeMatha Catholic High School...was selected All-State his senior season at Northern...won back-to-back conference titles at DeMatha his freshman and sophomore years...majoring in sociology...son of Johnny Thames and Amy Nurenberg...born 1/11/90.
