BAY CITY, Mich. - SVSU men's basketball junior guard Greg Foster (Indianapolis, Ind./TC Howe HS) has been selected as the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) North Division "Player of the Week", it was announced by the league office.
Foster led the Cardinals to a GLIAC split last weekend that included a win over No. 17 Grand Valley State. He posted his first double-double of the season with 13 points while grabbing 12 rebounds and adding five assists in the 61-59 victory. Foster then recorded a team-high 21 points, six rebounds and two assists in a 70-68 loss at Ferris State on Saturday. For the week he averaged 17.0 points, nine rebounds, and 3.5 assists per contest while shooting 60 percent (3-5) from three.
