UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - Saginaw Valley State
University saw their three game winning streak fall to the Chargers
of Hillsdale College by a score of 83-43 this evening (Jan.
29).
The Cardinal were led by Dan Genther (Laingsburg, Mich.) who
scored 16 points in his second straight game. Genther shot
six-of-ten from the floor, including three-offive from three point
range. Dante Williams was the only other Cardinal in double figures
on the night with ten points.
With the loss the Cardinals fall to 5-12 overall and 5-8 in the
GLIAC, while Hillsdale moves to 9-8 overall and 7-5 in the GLIAC.
Saginaw Valley returns to action on Saturday, January 31 against #1
Findlay in the James E. O’Neil Arena at 3:00 pm.
