Annual Red vs. White Spring Football Game Set For Saturday

UNIVERSITY CENTER - The Saginaw Valley State University football team will play its annual spring game on Saturday, April 18th at 11:00 a.m.  The event will be hosted at Harvey Randall Wickes Memorial Stadium and is open to the public and free for all fans.

"The Spring Game is always a great way to finish our spring sessions and it gives our players the chance to compete in a game-like atmosphere that is difficult to duplicate in practice," said SVSU Head Coach Jim Collins, who will lead the Cardinals onto the field in the fall for his eighth season at the helm.  "The guys have brought a new level of intensity to this year's spring practices and the coaching staff is excited to see the the performance on Saturday morning."

The game will mark the finish to the 2015 spring practice sessions for the Cardinals, who will begin their regular season campaign in a Thursday night opener at the University of Indianapolis on September 3rd at 7:00 p.m.
