UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University football team moved up to No. 6 in the NCAA Division II Super Region #4 rankings today (Oct. 29).
The Cardinals are one of three teams from the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference to be ranked in the top ten this week. The top six teams from each of the four "Super Regions" following the final week of the regular season advance to the NCAA Division II football tournament.
SVSU (7-2, 6-2 GLIAC) will travel to Northern Michigan (3-6, 2-6 GLIAC) this weekend (Nov. 3) for their final road contest of the season.
