2009: Appeared in 12 games, starting three of them…gained a total of 432 yards on the season on 106 attempts…averaged 4.1 yards a game…scored six touchdowns for the Cardinals which was good for fourth on the team…carried the ball eight times for ten yards and caught two passes for 65 yards, including a SVSU season long 53 yards in a 42-14 victory over Ashland (Oct. 17)...earned 31 rushing yards in nine attempts and a touchdown in a 21-13 win over Wayne St. (Sept. 5)...had two touchdowns and 31 rushing yards in a 32-27 win over Northwood (Sept. 19)...had a game high of 74 rushing yards against Indianapolis (Sept. 26) leading the Cardinals to a 34-13 victory.

2008: Played in six games for the Cardinals...carried the ball 22 times for 107 yards on the season...best game came against Tiffin (Oct. 11) when he led the team in rushing with eight carries for 60 yards, had one reception for seven yards, and led the team in all purpose yardage...had a total of two receptions for 16 yards on the season...was second on the team in kickoff returns, returning 8 kickoffs for 168 yards... named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team. 

2007: Redshirted. 

Prior to SVSU/Personal: Prepped at Swan Valley High School in Saginaw under head coach Rich Bell...helped team to a 12-1 record as a senior...as a junior, he was named First Team All-Conference and Second Team All-Area as a defensive back...as a senior, he was named team captain, team MVP, First Team All-Conference at running back, First Team All-Area, Second Team All-State and was named to the Saginaw News Dream Team...finished his senior year with 1,949 rushing yards, a top-five total in the state and 28 touchdowns...member of the National Honor Society, student council, SADD and an honor roll student...currently majoring in Education...son of Clark and Kerry Hayes...born 5-31-88.
