UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley
State University football team earned the fifth spot in the NCAA
DII Regional Rankings released today (Oct. 12).
The top-six teams from each region advance to the NCAA Playoffs,
with the top-two teams from each region receiving a first round
bye. SVSU last made the postseason in 2005, when they advanced to
the regional final against Grand Valley State University.
The Cardinals will return to action this weekend on Saturday (Oct.
17) when they host Ashland University for a 12:00 pm start. The
Cardinals will be home for three of their final four games of the
regular season.
