Scott Head is currently in his second stint with the Cardinal baseball program, entering his third year overall with the team.  Head comes from St. Clair County Community College in Port Huron, Mich., where he was the head coach of the Skipper baseball program for the 2008 and 2009 seasons. 

A 2003 graduate of Saginaw Valley State University, Head played baseball for the Cardinals from 2000-02.   Scott is currently working on his Master's Degree at SVSU.

Head was the assistant wrestling coach at Montrose High School for four years, helping guide the team to a pair of state championships and one runner-up finish. 

Head attended Montrose High School in Montrose, Mich., where he participated in baseball, football and wrestling.
