GLIAC -- SVSU Senior right handed starting pitcher Brandon Wise has been named the GLIAC Pitcher of the Week following his performance this past weekend in a victory at Trevecca Nazarene. 

Wise earned his second victory over the season in Friday's 3-2 victory over Trevecca Nazarene. Wise worked 6.2 innings in the game, scattering five hits and allowing two runs (1 ER). He struck-out a season-high nine batters and walked zero for the Cardinals. Wise ranks second in the GLIAC with his 19 strikeouts and is fourth with his ERA of 2.16. 

Saginaw Valley is back in action on Tuesday (Mar. 3), as they play at Florida Southern College in a 6:00 p.m. matchup.
