2012: Participated in 46 games for the Cardinals, getting the start in 42 games as the main left fielder...led the team in hits (50), batting average (.365) and runs scored (28) as he batted in the two-hole most of the season...drove home 17 Cardinals on the year and tallied a .439 on-base-percentage as well as a .929 fielding percentage...named to the GLIAC All-Conference Honorable Mention Team...recorded the game winning hit in the series finale at Lake Erie with a two-out RBI single in the seventh that scored two runs to put the Cardinals in front on the road as they won 6-5.

2011: Appeared in 33 games, starting 24…had 24 hits with three double, 10 runs batted in and scoring 14 times…posted a .392 on base percentage and a .325 slugging percentage…had a team leading 1.000 fielding percentage with 33 putouts and three assists in 36 chances…went two-for two with one double and four runs batted in against Northern State (Mar. 6).

2010: Redshirted

Prior To SVSU/Personal: Transfer from Henry Ford Community College...prepped at Novi High School...at Henry Ford, was selected as All-Conference as well as being named the team's "Player of the Year"...in high school, was voted all-conference and all-area...majoring in physical education...son of Kevin and Lori Schwanz...born 9/9/89.
