2012: Participated in 38 games for the Cardinals, starting in 37 of them...posted a .330 batting average with 34 hits, including eight doubles and a home run against Florida Southern...tallied 23 RBI's and 24 walks with a .478 on-base-percentage...posted two stolen bases and recorded a .964 fielding percentage in an injury-shortened season.

2011: The only Cardinal to appear in and start all 49 games of the 2011 season…posted a .335 batting average, good for second on the team with a team leading 52 hits, 16 doubles and six homeruns…led the team with a .594 slugging percentage with 46 runs batted in and scoring 24 times…had a .975 fielding percentage with 75 putouts and four assists in 81 chances…had four hits in four at-bats with two doubles and five runs batted in against Alma (Apr. 10)…named second team All-GLIAC as an outfielder.

2010: Led the Cardinals in games played and games started, starting in 44-of-45 games played...posted a .331 batting average in 133 at-bats...finished the season with 29 runs off 44 hits with a team high seven home runs...added seven doubles as well as one triple...ranked second on the team with 35 RBI's and in slugging percentage at .556...achieved GLIAC All-Conference Honorable Mention recognition...had 50 put-outs and six assists.

Prior To SVSU/Personal:  Prepped at Bullock Creek High School in Midland, Mich...was an All-Conference selection all four years for the Lancers...was an All-State selection in High School as well...was a member of the Midland Berryhill American Legion World Series Championship Team, pitching the title game...major is undecided...son of Douglas and Jeanette O'Boyle...born 8-25-90.
