BAY CITY, Mich. - Saginaw Valley State University sophomore Eric Hummel (Menominee, Mich./Minnesota-Duluth) has been selected as the GLIAC "Pitcher of the Week". Hummel pitched a gem in the first game of a mid-week doubleheader against Wayne State University. He tossed his first complete game shutout as a Cardinal, allowing only a pair of hits and one walk while striking-out two Warriors. For the season, Hummel has a 2-1 record with a 3.22 earned run average in 22 1/3 innings pitched.
