UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The votes are in, and the Saginaw
Valley State baseball team has named junior Ryan Webber (Clio,
Mich.) this year’s most valuable player.
Throughout the year, Webber has been consistent both in the
batter’s box and from behind the plate.
In the batter’s box, Webber hit .327 with five home runs, 37
RBI and scored 26 runs. From behind the plate, he compiled a .996
fielding percentage with 216 put outs, 30 assists and gunned down
18 trying to steal.
