Home to the SVSU Softball program, the SVSU softball field underwent major renovation in 2007.  This included the addition of a new pressbox, permanent grandstand seating and dugouts; a new Fairplay scoreboard was added in 2008.  The field of play has a skinned clay infield with natural grass outfield.  The stadium is 202’ down each line and 222’ in center field.  Cardinal fans enjoy permanent stadium seating for 190 with an additional 140 temporary seats along the third base line.
