Kaitlyn Zarycki — Women's Basketball

Freshman guard Kaitlyn Zarycki earned her first career GLIAC South Division Player of the Week honors after leading the Cardinals to a pair of victories this past weekend over Ferris State and Lake Superior State.

Zarycki led the Cardinals to a 2-0 weekend, averaging 22.5 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 4.0 apg and 3.5 spg. She had 25 points with six rebounds, four assists and five steals in Thursday's 82-68 victory over GLIAC North leader Ferris State. She then added 20 points with eight boards, four assists and a pair of steals in Saturday's 82-60 victory at Lake Superior State.

The Cardinals remain on the road to play at Grand Valley State on Thursday (Feb. 13) before hosting Davenport on Saturday afternoon.
